Play Pioneers
Our Play Pioneers play a vital role in enhancing playtimes and lunchtimes by ensuring that all pupils have access to engaging, inclusive and purposeful play opportunities. Working closely with their peers, Play Pioneers help to lead activities, support friendships and encourage positive interactions across the school. Pupil voice is at the heart of the initiative, with children actively involved in decision-making and helping to shape the activities and resources available. A wide range of equipment is provided to meet different interests and needs, including story books for quiet reading, creative arts resources for imaginative expression, and even our own outdoor gym to promote physical activity and wellbeing. Through the Play Pioneers programme, pupils develop leadership skills, confidence and responsibility while helping to create a happy, active and inclusive play environment for everyone.
