Courageous Advocacy

What is a courageous advocate?

A courageous advocate is someone who champions a cause which is special and meaningful to them. Here at Hale Church of England Primary School we have a strong emphasis on encouraging our pupils to become courageous advocates, not just locally, but nationally and globally.

Throughout the year we use a range of resources as well as planned and incidental opportunities to encourage and develop courageous advocacy.

Each class, across the academic year supports a local or national charity helping to raise its profile as well as fundraising. A suggested local or national charity has been chosen for each class linked to our Christian Values. These maybe changed to be more responsive to the children’s views, ideas or to be more inline with current affairs.
