At Hale CE Primary School, we believe that Science is a vital part of the curriculum and plays a key role in helping our children understand the world that God has created. Through a high-quality science education, we inspire pupils to “Be the Light” by developing curiosity, resilience, and critical thinking, preparing them to become informed, responsible citizens in an ever-changing world. Units are carefully structured to allow pupils to build, revisit, and deepen their understanding over time, supporting long-term retention and conceptual clarity. Teaching places a strong emphasis on working scientifically, with pupils engaging in practical investigations, observations, data collection, and testing predictions using a range of enquiry types.
