Reading:
Children can select their own reading book from our class or whole school library. Children will be heard read as often as possible in school but we encourage them to read a few pages every night at home. Please record when your child has read to you in their reading record. The children also have access to ReadingPlus, we would like for the children to aim to access this for at least 5 minutes each weekday evening and they will be given time in school, regular use of this site will give them the opportunity to extend their understanding of different types of text, vocabulary and comprehension.
Please make sure your child brings in their reading record and reading books to school everyday.
